9:25 - 11:35am Unannounced religious exempt program inspection conducted. Observed 48 children + 10 direct-care staff in the preschool program. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed in a variety of activities, to include: art, dramatic play, fine-motor activities, puzzles, counting numbers, reading books, and active indoor play. Staff were actively engaged with the children and leading activities. The facility was found to be well maintained, safeguarded appropriately, and sufficiently supplied with age appropriate toys and equipment for the children. The outdoor playground offers multiple play features and the resilient surface was in compliance. Policies and procedures were in compliance. Staff are trained in First Aid/CPR, medication administration, child abuse + neglect, and daily health observations of children. Background checks were in compliance. Administrative recordkeeping was in good order. No non-compliances found today.
