A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 04/25/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Areas of noncompliance are noted in the violation narrative and were discussed with the provider during the exit meeting at the conclusion of the inspection.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-260-A Description: Based on all areas and equipment of the family day home, inside and outside, were maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Evidence:
1. The lids to the washing machine, dryer, and freezer chest.
2. There was a cord dangling from the TV mounted on the wall in the childcare area.Plan of Correction: Provider installed latches on the appliances and will secure the cover.
