Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the Director COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Further discussions included possible time-table for reopening and discussion of documentation still needed in order to complete application.

The Director stated that she will reach out to the Fire Marshal's Office to obtain current documentation of a fire inspection.

Due to the closure of the facility in response to the pandemic, currently there are no classroom staff on board. As these staff are hired (at some future date) Staff Health Reports shall be sent. Until such time, these staff are classified as to be determined.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A code compliance inspection was initiated on and concluded on 01/22/2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children or classroom staff present due to the closure of the center as a result of the pandemic. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the center's renewal application and the inspection. The Inspector reviewed virtually the entire facility, review policies & procedures, and answered questions submitted by the Director. Once staff are hired for the school year their records shall submitted by the facility to ensure that the documentation is complete.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable code sections. No violations were cited.
