This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on February 23, 2021 and concluded on the same day. The Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 21 children present in the half day program with 5 staff. The Inspector emailed the Director a list of items required to conduct the inspection. The Inspector reviewed records and 4 staff records submitted by the facility through virtual inspection to ensure documentation was complete. The program is running at a lower capacity during the COVID Health Situation and has implemented health and safety procedures during the opening which occurred in January 2021.
