This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A code compliance inspection was initiated on (date) and concluded on (date). The Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 43 children present and 9 staff. The Inspector emailed the Director a list of items required to conduct the inspection. The Inspector reviewed records, allergy/medication procedures, policies and staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable code sections. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs and the Program set up detailed procedures that they stated they want to keep moving forward even after the State of Emergency. Please call with questions 7030479-4679.
