An unannounced code compliance inspection was initiated on 7/26/2022 and concluded on 7/27/2022. The physical plant inspection was from 10:09 AM to 11:00 AM. There were 44 children present, ranging in ages from three to __, with six staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision. A total of three children?s records and three staff?s records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22.1-289.031-A Description: Based on observation and interview, the center failed to post the fact that the center is exempt from licensure in a visible location on the premises.
Evidence:
1. An inspection was completed of the physical plant on 7/26/22. A posting stating the center is exempt from licensure was not seen.
2. The director was unable to find the posting.Plan of Correction: Documentation will be posted showing the center is exempt from licensure.
