54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 1:00 to 2:00pm. Eight children were present with the provider and assistant. Total 24 points with two caregivers. The children were resting at the time of the inspection. Four children are new since the last inspection. Their records were reviewed today. The provider has MAT certification, but is currently not administering any medication. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 703-479-4709.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not obtain documentation of immunizations before a child attended the family day home. Findings: At the time of the inspection, the inspector found that there was no documentation of immunizations for a child who started in care on January 25, 2016. Plan of Correction: I will obtain the immunization record by 2/22/16.
