An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted Thursday, January 19, 2017 from approximately 1:30pm to 2:20pm to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. Some but not all standards were reviewed. The provider is currently operating under a conditional license. At this time, the provider does not have children in care. The licensing inspector reviewed the following information during the inspection: caregiver?s training information, emergency supplies were inspected including the first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio, and the emergency preparedness plan. A complete walk through of the house was completed with the caregiver. The child care areas were equipped with toys, equipment and supplies for children to use. The caregiver and household member?s records were reviewed and no changes have been made since the initial November 2016 inspection. If you have any questions regarding the inspection, contact the licensing inspector, Lynn Powers at (804) 662-9790.

In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
