54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. Observed 6 children (20 points) directly supervised by the provider and 2 assistants. Ratio and supervision were in compliance. A sample of 3 children's records, and 2 caregiver records were reviewed. The provider and household member records were also reviewed. The physical plant, supplies and emergency procedures were also reviewed. No medications were reported on site. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: free play, reading, blocks and balls. The interior of the family day home was found to be clean, organized, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Provider provided documented plan of corrections for violations cited at the last inspection. All violations had been corrected. The exit interview was conducted with the Provider.
