Comments:
An unannounced FDH monitoring inspection was conducted today with Provider. There were a total of 11 children (28 points) with Provider and 2 assistants, within supervision guidelines. When Inspector arrived, the children were cleaning up from morning free play and transitioned to circle time which consisted of reviewing the current day, singing songs and learning about birds. The children were observed making bird crafts by coloring and using yarn for hanging their crafts up. This activity correlated with the theme lesson of birds. Provider discussed the bird houses the children made yesterday with the children. One younger child was observed having one on one activities with staff while the older children completed their crafts. Observation of handwashing procedures and snack time was made. The programming space was decorated with season Easter bunny crafts that the children completed. No medications currently administered at this time. No new staff hired since the last licensing inspection and no new children enrolled. Previous violations were reviewed and corrective actions verified. A total of 2 children's records and certifications for MAT, CPR and First Aid remain current for staff. Background checks are current. This inspection began at 9am and ended at 10:30am.
