An unannounced subsidy visit was conducted today from 10:45am-12:45pm. There were 7 children (15 points) directly supervised by the provider and two assistants. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, playing with bubbles outside, and preparing for lunch. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact Megan Smith at email@example.com
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based on review, the family day home did not have a written emergency preparedness plan that addresses caregiver responsibility and home readiness with respect to emergency evacuation, relocation, lockdown and shelter-in-place procedures. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan did not have a written plan for lockdown procedures or reunification. Plan of Correction: I will complete a separate subsidy file for subsidy requirements. I will also update our emergency plan to include a lockdown and reunification plan.
