An unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted beginning at 11:30 and ending at 1:00. There were 3 children in care , all age 4 year old. Children were observed having lunch of pasta with meat sauce and pineapple and bread and milk. Children were then reading books and using electronic games. Reviewed three children's files - Complete Reviewed two family files - see violation notice Provider does not give medication. Emergency Escape drills and shelter in place drills are up to date. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920 Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the menu that was posted on the board for parents, was not dated and in addition, the meal that was listed for today was not what was served. Plan of Correction: The posted menu will always be dated and will have the correct foods listed.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-120-B Description: Based on a review of the files for the provider and one other adult family member, it was determined that one background check had expired. Evidence: The Sworn Statement for the provider and Family member #2 expired on 3/3/17. The new ones could not be located. Plan of Correction: The provider will either locate them or will redo them today.
