An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider who was present with one assistant and 8 children ( ages 2 to 4 years) for a total of 16 points. The children napped during the entire inspection. There were no medications on site and there have been no injury/accidents documented. For lunch, the children were provided hotdogs, corn. applesauce, crackers and milk. Six children and household members/assistant files were reviewed today. Arrival time: 1:30 pm Departure time: 3:30 pm
Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-c Description: Based on a review of three files, it was determined that there were no repeat background checks every three years for the central registry findings. Evidence: Person A and B's central registry findings were dated 10/23/13 and Person C's central registry findings was dated 10/2/13. Plan of Correction: We have completed these background checks I just have to locate them and put them in the file.
