An unannounced renewal inspection was completed on April 27, 2017. The purpose of this visit was to measure the facility?s compliance with the licensing standards. There were 10 children in care, for a total of 25 points with two caregivers. The children were observed reading stories, singing, dancing and eating a lunch of navy beans, wheat bread, mustard greens, cantaloupe and milk. The facility does not administer medication. The facility does not provide transportation. The last evacuation drill was conducted 4/19/17. The most recent shelter -in-place was conducted 3/21/17. A whole house walk through was conducted. Three caregiver, and four children?s records were reviewed. Approximate time on site: 10:40am to 2:30pm
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-790 Description: Based on observations at the facility, the facility did not post emergency telephone numbers. EVIDENCE: The facility did not post phone numbers for the poison control center, back-up provider in case of emergencies and the local dial number for police, fire, and emergency medical responders. Plan of Correction: I will print and post the emergency numbers.
