63.2 Child Abuse and Neglect
Today an unannounced Monitoring/Renewal inspection was conducted with (Providers Name). This visit took place in the morning/afternoon between 2:00pm and 3:00pm. There was 1 children present with the provider for a total of 3 points within the supervision guidelines. The child was napping during today's visit. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A Description: Based on record review, attendance was not recorded each day. Evidence: Caregiver confirmed that attendance has not been taken this week. Plan of Correction: This was corrected during today's visit. I'll leave my attendance out where I will see it and remember to do it.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on record review, Tuberculosis (TB) Screenings were not obtained every two years. Evidence: The providers most recent TB Screening was on July 29, 2015. Plan of Correction: I've already set myself a reminder to do this as soon as possible.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-A Description: Based on observation, small appliances were not unplugged. Evidence: There is a coffee maker and toaster plugged-in in the kitchen. Plan of Correction: Corrected during today's visit.
