Technical Assistance:
Your annual fire inspection on your fireplace is due this summer. You are reminded to submit your renewal application for your license prior to the expiration date.

Comments:
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 6 children (9pts) with Provider and 1 assistant. When the Inspector arrived, the children were in circle time singing along with a video about the letter "N". A necktie, necklace and newspaper were used to review the letter "N". A nice transition from the circle time to the table for snack time was observed. Snack today was crackers and apple juice. After snack the children transitioned to small group play time. Some children were observed gathered around the sensory table which provided tactile activities with jelly filled balls and plastic fish. Some children were busy listening to the ocean with seashells. Brain coral and driftwood was available for touching and exploring at the observation table. Weather today permitted the children to play outside and to complete a science experiment. The experiment allowed children to learn about primary and secondary colors using colored water and ice trays where they instructed to combine the primary colors to make secondary colors in their individual ice trays. Hand washing procedures were also observed. A total of 5 children's records, all staff and all household member files were reviewed and found complete. Positive interaction was observed between children and staff. Thank you for your cooperation today. This inspection began at 10:20am and ended at 12pm.
