A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from approximately 11:15AM to 1:20PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. In attendance were four non-resident children. The children were being supervised by one caregiver during the inspection. There was a total of nine points based on the children?s ages. The children were observed playing with toys, working puzzles, washing hands and eating lunch. A walk through of the home was conducted with the provider. The child care areas were filled with supplies and toys for the children. During the inspection five children's and one caregiver?s record and two household members? records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were not found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Lynn Powers at (804) 662-9790.
