- Technical Assistance:
During the inspection, the licensing representative discussed with provider updates to background procedures. Provider has received facility code and anticipates scheduling fingerprinting appointments with Fieldprint in the coming weeks. Provider was reminded that a child recently enrolled that will need documentation of a physical exam by 5/2/18.
The following inspection was conducted from 10:15am-11:20am. Today, I met with the Provider on site at the Family Day Home (FDH). At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 3 children (8 points) with 1 caregiver. A total of 3 children's files and 1 caregiver record were reviewed, in addition to emergency drills. No medications were on site. The children were observed during bathroom breaks, hand washing, snack [apples and puffs] and other organized activities. Nurturing interactions and positive guidance were observed between caregiver and children. There were no violations cited this date.
