An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:15am. At the time of inspection, 4 children (4 points) were directly supervised the assistant caregiver. The sample size consisted of 4 children records and 2 caregiver records. Children were observed practicing letter writing, engaged in completing puzzles, completing reading worksheets, and drawing pictures. Positive interactions were observed between the caregiver and children. The provider was at an appointment during the inspection. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on review of caregiver records, the provider did not obtain an updated tuberculosis screening every two years. Evidence: Caregiver 1 had a TB screening completed in March 2016 and has completed a subsequent screening. Plan of Correction: An appointment for an x-ray will be scheduled.
