Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 5 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 12:15-1:15. There were 5 children, totaling 10 points, under the supervision of the Provider. Today, the children colored pictures, worked with the letter "B", listened to story time and enjoyed free play. The interactions between the children and Provider was seen to be positive and constructive in nature. The children bring their lunches to the FDH each day they are in care. The Provider is not certified in MAT (medication administration training) and does not administer medications. Should you have any questions, please contact me at mary.wizbicki@dss.virginia.gov.
