- Technical Assistance:

*Time frames for CPR and First Aid certification. CPR must be obtained from an organization offering in-person skills testing;
*Written policies for shaken baby syndrome, abusive head trauma and coping with crying babies/distraught children;
*Written policies for sudden infant death syndrome and safe sleep;
*Written emergency plans to include reunification policies;
*Risk Matrix
*The broken outlet plate in the SA game room should be replaced before it becomes a safety hazard.
*Metal storage shelf should be secured to wall to prevent toppling hazard. ( Secure or remove before program opens )

An announced initial subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 11/09/2023 from 10:00 am - 12:15 pm. There were no children in care as the program is not yet fully operational therefore, regulations regarding care of children, supervision and activities could not be determined. The inspector reviewed the physical plant, emergency supplies, written policies and procedures, model forms and training/background checks for the program director. No violations were found at this initial inspection.
