A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 07/17/18 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today's visit was a routine monitoring inspection. The inspection began at 10:30am and concluded at 1:15pm. There were a total of three children in care with one provider and a total of six points. During the inspection outside time was observed, lunch time was observed, five out of eight children's records were reviewed, the provider's records was reviewed, emergency supplies were viewed, some policies and procedures were reviewed, the provider stated there were no medications for children present today, and there were no injury reports since last inspection. Discussion took place regarding crib compliance as the provider will soon have a new infant in care and the inspector provided a CPSC Crib Standard fact sheet. Thank you for your time, please call me at (540)309-2051 if you have any questions. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection: the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
