22VAC40-191 Background Checks for Child Welfare Agencies
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, July 19, 2018 to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 2:30pm and concluded at approximately 4:00pm. In attendance were two children totaling five points being supervised by the provider. Children were observed asleep on cots with sheets. Today's lunch consisted of bean soup, pita bread, carrots, apples, and milk. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. The children's restroom was inspected with the required supplies present. All rooms of the home used by children and front yard used for outdoor play were inspected. The family day home had the required postings displayed in the living room and children's room. The required first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and emergency supplies were inspected. Three children's records and two household member records were inspected with the required information present. The following was also inspected on this day: fire drill log, daily attendance, daily schedule, parent agreements, and other pertinent information.
