Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance during the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted on August 1, 2018 between the hours of approximately 10:50 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Fourteen (14) children were enrolled and eight children were in the care of two caregivers on this date. Five children's records and five caregiver/household member records were reviewed and/or updated. No medications were administered on this date, as is the policy of this family day home. Facility documents, posted information and safety equipment (first aid kit, flashlight, fire extinguisher and radio) were observed/reviewed. The lunch provided on this date included spaghettios, pears and milk. Program observation was completed. Observed activities included: indoor play (toys); outdoor play; restroom, diapering and handwashing procedures; lunch; infant care and naptime. Adult/child interactions, behavior guidance and daily routines/transitions were also observed. The children knew and followed the daily routine and transitions well. No violations of licensing standards were cited during this inspection.
