An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on July 24 2018 between 10:00am and 11:30am. There were 5 children in the direct care of 1 provider. The children were observed working in centers, participating in fun fitness, washing hands, and sharing. The day care space is decorated with classroom focuses as well as children's art work. The home is clean, organized, and offers plenty of materials, books, and toys for the children to utilize. An area of compliance is listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B Description: Based on record review, 2 of 5 children's records reviewed did not have documentation that an annual review of the emergency contacts were reviewed by the parent. Evidence: Child #1 record had a yearly update documented on January 3 2017 and Child #3 last had a yearly update documented on May 20 2017. Plan of Correction: I will obtain the signatures today.
