An unannounced Code compliance inspection was conducted today.
There were seven preschool children in care with two classroom staff.
The children were watching a children's exercise program, eating lunch and playing with trucks.
Two child records, and three staff records, were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-2 Description: Based on a review of staff files, the facility failed to ensure that all background checks are conducted within the required time frames. REPEAT VIOLATION
Evidence:
1. There are no central registry clearances on file staff #2 & 3. Hire dates 8-12-22 & 8-4-22Plan of Correction: The provider reported that the background checks have been completed.
