54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 2 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 11:50am-1:15pm. There were 7 children, totaling 20 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. Today, the children colored pictures, sang the ABC song, participated in circle time, played outside and rested during naptime. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served roast beef, french fries, mixed vegetable, mixed fruit and milk. The Provider is currently certified in MAT (medication administration training).
