An unannounced inspection was conducted today from 11:00 am to 12:25 pm, in response to a complaint received by the agency. The complaint was related to supervision and neglect. Two staff members were interviewed, 2 staff records, 1 child's record and injury reports were reviewed. The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation of non-compliance with standards or law. Violation not related to the complaint is listed in the violation notice. Standard #: 22.1-289.031-B-4 Complaint related: No Description: Based on records review, the center did not ensure that all children are in compliance with immunizations.
Evidence: Child # 1'sfirst day of enrollment was 10/24/23. Immunization records for Child # 1 were not obtained to this date.Plan of Correction: Child # 1 no longer attends the center. Moving forward, immunizations records will be obtained for all children before the first day of enrollment.
