Discussed out of state background checks and resources to complete them along with questions about swaddling.
An unannounced renewal inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 6 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 11:40am- 1:00pm. There were 5 children, totaling 15 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. Today, the children were observed enjoying free play and organized activities with the caregivers. Today, the children were served black beans with rice, corn, tomatoes and milk. The Provider is not certified in MAT (medication administration training)and there are no children with any medication needs. All caregivers are certified in CPR and First Aid. Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-B-3 Description: Based on file review, 1 caregiver does not have documentation of a search of the central registry by any other state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years. Evidence 1. Caregiver #6 has documentation of living in another state within the past five years on the sworn disclosure statement. However, there is no completed search of the central registry for that state on file. Plan of Correction: During the inspection, the Provider printed the form and completed it. The assistant will sign this on Tuesday and it will be scanned and emaiiled that day. Once the check is received, the Provider will send this to the inspector.
