A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from approximately 9:20 am to 11:15 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. During this inspection, there were no children in care, however, the caregiver reported having two children enrolled that attend in the afternoon. The family day home's first aid kit and emergency supplies, posted emergency contacts, fire, shelter-in-place, lockdown drills were reviewed by the inspector. During this inspection, there were two children's records, one provider's record, and two household member's records were reviewed by the inspector. The Department has not yet received a complete renewal application and annual fee from the center. The Department must receive a complete renewal application and fee prior to expiration of the license on April 30, 2019 or the Department cannot renew the license. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
