Discussed to write the 2 shelter in place drills on the bottom two lines of the fire drill form. Have parents complete permission forms to walk around the neighborhood. Provided copies of the sworn statement and central registry. Reviewed the age requirements for household background checks.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 8:45 am through 10:00. There were a total of 3 children (12 points) with 2 caregivers. A total of 3 children's files and 4 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: breakfast, toy play, and music. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-100-A Description: Based on a review of children records, there is no documentation of a physical examination within 30 days after the child's first day of attendance. Evidence: Child #1, date of attendance 1/1/19 does not have documentation of a physical examination. Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for the physical examination.
