Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with caregivers on July 25, 2019 to determine compliance with the licensing standards. There were eight children present, ranging in age from 10 months to 9 years old, totaling 15 points. The children were waking from rest time, arriving from summer school, playing with age appropriate toys and activities, and eating afternoon snack. Snack served today: graham crackers and apple juice. Six children's files and three caregiver/household files were reviewed - please see Supplemental Summary for missing items. Caregivers completed first aid and CPR on 11/11/2018. Provider does not administer medication - Medication Administration Training is required to give medicine. Evacuation drills have been conducted monthly. The last shelter in place drill was conducted 3/19/2019. Time of today's inspection: 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please call me if you have any questions 804-662-9766 or e-mail tara.barton@dss.virginia.gov.
