An unannounced mandated Renewal Inspection was conducted today from 10:15am to 1:00 pm. There were 6 children (15 points) and 1 caregiver during this inspection. Children were observed in circle time, reading a book, doing math activities , playing with cars, napping, washing hands and having lunch. Reviewed 2 children's files, 1 staff file, 5 household member files, 1 pet file, attendance, emergency evacuation log and supplies, crib compliance, and physical plant. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-A Description: Based on children's record review, provider did not maintain an up to date record for each enrolled child. Evidence: Child#2 did not have documentation of the annual review of the child's emergency contact information. Plan of Correction: I will have the parent update the record this afternoon
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on staff record review, caregivers did not obtain 16 clock hours of training annually. Evidence: Provider had documentation of 13 of the 16 required hours of training. Plan of Correction: I am registered for a class on August 21
