Technical Assistance:
Discussed with provider options for annual training.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider from 12:25 pm until 12:55 pm. Many of the standards were not reviewed today. Twelve children were present ( 11 months to 4 years of age) most were napping for a total of 29 points. The provider and two assistants were present and supervising the children.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A
Description: Based on an interview, it was determined that two caregivers have not obtained at least 16 clock hours of training annually for 2018.
Evidence:
The provider reported that there has been no annual training for Staff A and B for 2018.

Plan of Correction: I will go online and both staff will do at least 16 hours of training for 2018 and 16 hours for 2019.
