Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and a follow-up to the initial inspection conducted on 06/07/2019. All previously cited violation have been corrected. Further discussion centered around Proof of Identification documentation; please continue to check original documentation and verify on child's record with a signature of person verifying, and date of verification. Discussion of Household Member #1 becoming a substitute assistant on an as needed basis. Please complete a staff orientation form prior to their supervision of the children in care. Discussion of the upcoming renewal process when the current license is set to expire in early March 2020.
The following inspection took place between the hours of 9 am through 11 am. Today, I met with the Provider on site at the Family Day Home (FDH) located in Lovettsville, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced non-mandated, monitoring inspection there were a total of 4 children observed (12 points) with 2 caregivers. A total of 4 children?s files, 3 staff files, and 3 household member?s files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: morning snack; Halloween activities, crafts, and other special events were planned throughout the day, infant feeding, and other organized activities.
