Technical Assistance:

Discussed/reviewed the following with the Provider: - Background checks (including time frame for completing them again) - TB test for household member #3 will need to be completed before 1/10/20 - Nutritional guidelines for meals and snacks - The FDH renewal application, which will need to be completed and sent to the Fairfax licensing office prior to the license expiration.

Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 5 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 11:20-1:10pm. There were 9 children, totaling 24 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. During the inspection, children were observed entering the program from the bus, washing up and eating lunch, cleaning up after eating, listening to storytime and resting at nap time. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Two of the caregivers have taken a course to become certified in MAT (Medication Training).
