Provided consultation on safe sleep best practices and discussed that no soft bedding of any kind shall be used under or around infants. Provided consultation on emergency response drills and discussed requirement to have monthly evacuation drills and two shelter-in-place drills each year. A lockdown drill is an additional safety drill that is optional.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:30 ? 11:45 am with the provider and her assistant. There were nine children in care when the inspector arrived, ranging from 13 months to four years of age, for a total of 23 points. The children were observed arriving (due to a late opening), having free play with a variety of age appropriate toys, cleaning up and having a drink of water and participating in circle time activities including singing, dancing and exercising. Four children's records and two provider/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. Required information was posted. The last emergency escape drill was conducted: 11/14/19 and the last shelter-in-place drill was conducted: 5/2/19. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care.
