Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:45am through 10:50am. There were a total of 3 children present between 9 months and 3 years old (8 points) with the Provider. A total of 4 children?s files and the provider's file were reviewed. The children were engaged in age appropriate play with self-selection of toys and learning colors, shapes, and words through a structured activity. Positive interactions between caregivers and children were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the programming space, children and staff records, evacuation drills, menu, attendance, and emergency procedures were completed today. No new staff have been hired since the last inspection. The provider advised there was no medication on site today and she does not administer medication. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials and toys. The provider advised she is no longer a subsidy vendor. Description:	Based on interview with the provider and review of the emergency drill log, emergency evacuation procedures have not been practiced monthly. Evidence: A fire drill was not conducted in the months of November 2019 and December 2019.
Plan of Correction:	We will practice two fire drills per month this month and next month and then moving forward we will do a fire drill once per month.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-60-B
Description:	Based on record review, 2 of 4 children's records reviewed did not contain all required information. Evidence: Child #3 and Child #4's records did not contain the medical insurance policy number.
Plan of Correction:	It will be completed today.
