Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-11:30am. There were 9 children (19 points) supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 2 staff records, 9 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, , and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed engaging freely, practicing reading, numbers, handwriting and eating snack. Diapering procedures were also observed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-750-A
Description: Based on observation not all topical skin products are labeled with child's name.
Evidence:
Diaper creams and sunscreen bottles located in the bathroom are not labeled with child's name.

Plan of Correction: We are not using the sunscreen right now and the diaper creams are my granddaughters. I will label them.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: Based on observation, potentially poisonous substances are accessible to children.
Evidence:
Laundry soap and other cleaning agents are accessible to children in the unlocked laundry room

Plan of Correction: I have a lock, I will make sure to put it on.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-510-A
Description: Based on observation, not all cribs and rest mats are labeled for individual use.
Evidence:
One crib and one rest mat are used by a child and not labeled for individual use.

Plan of Correction: I will make sure they are all labeled.
