Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-11:30am. There were 9 children (19 points) supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 2 staff records, 9 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, , and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed engaging freely, practicing reading, numbers, handwriting and eating snack. Diapering procedures were also observed. Standard #:	22VAC40-111-750-A
Description:	Based on observation not all topical skin products are labeled with child's name. Evidence: Diaper creams and sunscreen bottles located in the bathroom are not labeled with child's name.
Plan of Correction:	We are not using the sunscreen right now and the diaper creams are my granddaughters. I will label them.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-280
Description:	Based on observation, potentially poisonous substances are accessible to children. Evidence: Laundry soap and other cleaning agents are accessible to children in the unlocked laundry room
Plan of Correction:	I have a lock, I will make sure to put it on.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-510-A
Description:	Based on observation, not all cribs and rest mats are labeled for individual use. Evidence: One crib and one rest mat are used by a child and not labeled for individual use.
Plan of Correction:	I will make sure they are all labeled.
