Inspector and director discussed training hours and proof of identity.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-10:30am. There were 5 children (10 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 1 staff record, 2 children?s records, 3 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing independently with cars and dolls, the children played the game Gone Fishin' and the provider encouraged a child who was potty training to use the rest room. Two children were getting frustrated. The provider sat down on the ground and played with the children and encouraged the play with shapes naming a pentagon, octagon and diamond. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
