An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 7 children were present with Provider and 2 assistants. A walk thru of the programming area, the crib room, and bathroom was conducted. The children were observed interacting with each other and with staff. They were reading books and playing with toys. Transition to hand washing and lunch was made. Lunch today was beef, brown rice with veggies and milk to drink. No medication on site and no topical ointments are needed at this time. A total of 5 children's records and all staff and household records were reviewed. No new staff hired since the July inspection. Previous violations from the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection began at approximately 9am and ended at 11:20pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on staff record review, one background check was not completed.
Evidence: Staff #2 has lived outside of the State of Virginia. An out of state Central Registry search was not conducted.Plan of Correction: I will send this request off immediately and will forward results to the Licensing Inspector immediately.
