Licensing inspector reminded Provider of required documents for a household member that is turning 18 years old next month.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 7/24/2020 and concluded on 7/30/2020. The Provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 12 children present with 2 caregivers for a total of 21 points. The inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records 2 staff records, 1 household member record and 2 children's medications submitted by the Provider to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The licensing inspector has reviewed with the Provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, the provider has not reviewed proof of a child's identity within the child's first 7 days of attendance.
Evidence: Child #2's (first date of attendance: 6/22/2020) file does not contain documentation that the child's age and identity has been verified.Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents to bring it tonight.
