This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was conducted on 8/4/20. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There are no children currently enrolled. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed the provider's record and one household member's record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-B-2 Description: Based on review of one household member's record and interview with the provider, the provider did not obtain a national fingerprint-based criminal history record report for household members within 30 days of their becoming 18 years old. Evidence: Household Member A, with a date of birth of 5/5/02, has not submitted to fingerprinting. Plan of Correction: I will call today to schedule for fingerprinting.
