1. Reviewed the upcoming process for renewing the Family Day Home license.
2. Discussed the ongoing importance of maintaining a safe home, especially during the current health pandemic, which the provider agreed.
3. The inspector will send the provider information about the CARES Grant Phase 3, should it become available.

This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time.
A monitoring inspection was conducted today. The provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. The provider reported that currently there are no children enrolled, though the daycare remains open. The provider indicated an understanding of the licensing requirements, and no violations were issued on this date. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@dss.virginia.gov
