Discussed cleaning solution for diaper changes and recording of monthly emergency drills and shelter-in-place drill.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on March 8, 2021 and concluded on March 8, 2021. The Provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection for the purpose of modifying the license to increase age span on the license. There were no children present and the provider does not have any children enrolled at this time. The Inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to observe in order to demonstrate the program was equipped and ready to accept children at a younger age. The Inspector observed a diapering area, disinfectant spray, and step on trash can in the area. The Inspector was also shown materials and equipment suitable for younger children. The Provider has not conducted emergency drills at this time because there have not been children enrolled since Provider received a license.
