This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 1:40pm. The provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and given a list of items required to complete the inspection. There were 11 children present = 34 points with the Provider + 2 assistant caregivers during the inspection. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were napping during the inspection. The Provider continues to implement daily enhanced health and safety practices. Information gathered during the inspection determined there was an area of non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on interview conducted, it was determined that the provider has not obtained a TB screening every 2 years. Evidence: The date of the last TB screening for the provider was 10/3/18. Plan of Correction: The provider stated that she will obtain a TB screening.
