Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 3/8/2021 and concluded on 3/15/21. The director was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were 5 children present and 1 staff present. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 1 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The information gathering during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. The licensing inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
