Technical Assistance:

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. All staff observed wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Provider was contacted via Facetime to complete the inspection. There were a total of 6 children (16pts) with 2 staff. The children were observed interacting with staff, playing with legos and preparing for lunch. Lunch was observed as chicken, rice, lentils and fresh apples and bananas. No medications on site at this time and no food allergies identified. A total of 3 children's records and all staff/household records were reviewed to ensure current background checks and certifications and health screenings. The home was decorated with festive seasonal decorations such as flowers, butterflies and bunnies. Artwork completed by the children was observed hanging up which included penguins which coincided with a zoo lesson. Thank you for your cooperation today with this inspection.
