The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Annual staff training will be reviewed at the next licensing inspection along with staff health records if the State of Emergency has been lifted.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Provider was contacted via Facetime to complete the inspection. A total of 7 children(21pts) with 2 staff. One of the seven belonged to the Provider. The children and staff were observed sitting in the sunroom, engaged in a card memory/matching game. Staff were observed wearing masks during the inspection. A walk thru of the home was made virtually. Observation of the kitchen, programming space, crib room and nap area was made. Some new additions were noted regarding additional programming equipment, shelving and toys. No medication or food allergy needs identified at this time. A total of 3 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed. Some leniency regarding annual training has been granted due to current State of Emergency.
