Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

All caregivers must have current background checks.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on March 5, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present with 1 caregiver. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed one caregiver records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on a review of caregiver records, the provider failed to obtain a current report of Tuberculosis Screening form every two years from the date of the first screeni.ng or more frequently as recommended aby a physician or the local health department.

Evidence:
Caregiver #1 does not have a current tuberculosis screening report.

Plan of Correction: I will ensure that all caregiver's have current documentation of tuberculosis screening in their record.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2
Description: Based on a review of caregiver records, the provider failed to obtain a current central registry background findings.

Evidence:
Caregiver #1 does not have a current central registry background finding. The last background check was dated 6/26/2015

Plan of Correction: I will obtain a current central registry background check for Caregiver #1
